Lights, Camera, Impact: Jamie Vari named 2026 Heart Ball chair
WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 17, 2025 — For over a century, the American Heart Association has been a relentless force for longer, healthier lives. In Delaware, that mission takes center stage through the annual Heart Ball campaign. This year, the Association is proud to announce that Jamie Vari, managing director at Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL), will serve as the 2026 Delaware Heart Ball chair.
As a volunteer leader, Vari will spearhead a year-round campaign to improve heart and brain health across the state, culminating in a star-studded celebration on April 17, 2026, at the historic Hotel DuPont. This year’s event celebrates a special theme, “Lights, Camera, Impact" and spotlights survivors, honors community champions and raises critical funds for the Association’s lifesaving work.
“Jamie Vari exemplifies bold leadership and deep community commitment through his work at JLL and for the American Heart Association,” said Jim Murphy, executive director of the American Heart Association in Delaware. “His passion for building healthier communities and dedication to the Association’s mission make him an ideal chair for this campaign.”
Vari is managing director at JLL’s Wilmington office, where he specializes in landlord and tenant representation across Delaware and the Greater Philadelphia region. With more than a decade of experience, he has led hundreds of successful transactions and built strong partnerships that support business growth and community development. Vari is a graduate of Goldey-Beacom College and remains active in professional and community organizations. He is dedicated to supporting causes that promote health, education and opportunity.
“I am honored to serve as chair of the 2026 Delaware Heart Ball,” said Vari. “I believe in the American Heart Association’s vision of a world of longer, healthier lives, and I look forward to working with an incredible team to make a lasting impact. Together, we’ll champion heart health and inspire hope across our communities.”
The 2026 Delaware Heart Ball is generously supported by community sponsors including Harvey Hanna and Associates, Inc., Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown, Morris James and others. The event will feature an elegant evening of dinner, dancing, auctions and inspiring stories.
