Ronald M. Lazar, Ph.D., FAHA, is a member of the American Stroke Association Stroke Scientific Statement Oversight Committee (SOC). He is a professor of neurology and neurobiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and director of the UAB McKnight Brain Institute.
