Alexis Loveless
After collapsing at school at the age of 13, Alexis was diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome and received an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator and pacemaker. She has since become involved as a volunteer with the American Heart Association and recently accepted the role of Kentucky Youth Ambassador for the Kids and American Heart Challenge. Alexis has made it her mission for all schools to have Cardiac Emergency Response Plans in place, which include providing CPR training for staff and having an AED on-site.
