David St. Pierre with all his rescuers. David St. Pierre, center, suffered sudden cardiac arrest on Sept. 27 at his workplace, Regeneron. Coworkers called 911 and started CPR, and seven agencies responded. On Dec. 11, at W.F. Bruen Rescue Squad in Rensselaer, St. Pierre and his rescuers gathered for a recognition ceremony.
