Dr. Velarde on ISC26 DP006 reducing stroke risk
Gladys P. Velarde, M.D., FACC, FAHA, is Vice Chair of the American Heart Association’s Latino Hispanic Cardiovascular Alliance and Co-Chair of the National Minority Cardiovascular Health Alliance. She also is a professor of medicine at the University of Florida, and a board-certified cardiologist at UF Health Jacksonville where she also serves as the medical director of the UF Health Women’s Cardiovascular Program.
