SPRINGDALE, Ark., Dec. 1, 2025 — Community Clinic has earned national recognition from the American Heart Association for its commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care that improves patient outcomes and reduces the risk of heart disease and stroke.
The clinic recently received three prestigious awards for excellence in managing Type 2 diabetes, cholesterol and blood pressure:
- Target: Type 2 Diabetes – Participation Award for advancing awareness, detection and management of Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular risk factors.
- Check. Change. Control. Cholesterol – Gold Level for delivering evidence-based statin therapy and improving cholesterol management.
- Target: BP – Gold+ Level, the highest recognition in the program, for achieving blood pressure control in more than 70% of adult patients through accurate measurement practices.

Nearly half of U.S. adults live with some form of cardiovascular disease, often driven by diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Community Clinic’s accomplishments demonstrate leadership in prevention and patient-centered care, said Beth Jones, community impact director for the American Heart Association in Northwest Arkansas.
The awards presentation honored key leaders whose dedication drives the clinic’s success, including Judd Semingson, CEO; Daniel Hicks, lead metrics coordinator; Delise Wands, quality metrics manager; Micah Kight, revenue cycle director; Sheryl Davis, clinical educator; Gary Joslin, clinical operations director; Zarah Reed, director of site operations; Tabitha McFadden, chief human resources officer; Lisa Stafford, research director; and Jeremy Stark, behavioral health director.
Community Clinic operates 30 locations across Northwest Arkansas, providing comprehensive care including family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, behavioral health and dental services.
