HARTFORD The American Heart Association, celebrating 100 years of saving and improving lives, announces Dr. Adam Steinberg, Hartford HealthCare Vice President of Medical Affairs - Hartford Hospital will serve as Chair of the 2025 Greater Hartford Heart Walk. The annual Heart Walk will take place on September 6, 2025 . 

As chair, Dr. Steinberg will lead organizational efforts in Greater Hartford to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke while highlighting efforts to improve lives and communities. Central to that mission is a Hands-Only CPR Mobile Kiosk sponsored by Hartford HealthCare which travels throughout the state providing this lifesaving skill to communities, including underserved and under-resourced neighborhoods.

Support for the Greater Hartford Heart Walk as platform sponsor is part of a three-year Live Fierce. Take Action. initiative with Hartford HealthCare, which includes bringing the Hands-Only CPR Mobile Kiosk to Connecticut. The kiosk is only one of eight in the United States and the first in New EnglandOver the three years, the kiosk will be located around the state to educate the community about this lifesaving skill. Since its launch in July 2024, the kiosk has taught Hands-Only CPR to over 2,500 visitors.
