ATLANTA, August 1, 2025 - The American Heart Association, Metro Atlanta, the world’s leading nonprofit organization focused on heart and brain health for all, has appointed several local executives and medical professionals to its 2025-2026 Board of Directors. These leaders will drive the Association’s mission, to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives, in Metro Atlanta and across Georgia by focusing on controlling high blood pressure, eliminating tobacco/vaping usage, addressing nutrition security, CPR education and reducing women’s heart health risks.

Tracy Pitcher, senior vice president of Comcast Business Central Division will serve as board chairperson alongside president, Dr. Divya Gupta M.D., heart failure and transplantation cardiologist of Emory Healthcare.

“It’s an honor to serve as chairperson of an organization so deeply committed to improving and saving lives,” said Pitcher. “Heart disease affects every family, and I’m proud to work alongside such passionate leaders to drive change, strengthen communities, and help ensure more people have the opportunity to live longer, healthier lives.”

New board members include Collin Garner, senior counsel of Genuine Parts Company; David Jones, M.D., chief medical officer of Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia; Nichole Miles-Sullivan, vice president, operations at Atlanta Gas Light; Allison Ng, shareholder of Greenberg Traurig; and Kareem Rogers, president, National Account Services of ADP.

Returning board members include Scott Webb, Hewlett Packard Enterprise; Karen Bennett, Cox Enterprises; Stephanie Blank; community volunteer; Marcus Brown, M.D., Northside Hospital Heart Institute; Natalie Hernandez-Green, Morehouse School of Medicine; Veronica Maldonado-Torres, Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; Ken Morge, Delta Airlines, and Kevin Stoneham, King & Spalding.
