ROANOKE, Va., Feb. 23, 2026 – The American Heart Association will bring a touch of Hollywood to the Hotel Roanoke this Saturday, February 28 with the 2026 Roanoke Heart Ball, themed “The Heart of Hollywood”. The event aims to raise funds to fight heart disease and stroke, the leading causes of death in the U.S.

Chaired by Valerie Brown, Executive Director of the Greater Williamson Road Area Business Association, the Heart Ball will celebrate the Association’s mission to advance health and hope for everyone, everywhere while featuring live and silent auctions, a 360-degree photo booth, a formal dinner and live music.

“We are excited to see the Star City come together to support heart health and our life-saving mission,” said Christie Steele-Garcia, Development Director for the American Heart Association. “This year’s theme brings the spectacle of Hollywood, and we look forward to seeing Roanoke shine like movie stars.”

The evening will also include an event format highlighting the “Four Chambers” of the Association’s work in the region through local stories of survival and volunteerism.
